SALATIO TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Salatio mobile application, website, platform, vendor dashboard, and related services collectively referred to as the “App” or “Platform,” operated by Salatio LLC (“Salatio,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By downloading, accessing, creating an account, submitting information, or using Salatio in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.
1. Overview of the Platform
Salatio is a halal-focused discovery and information platform that allows:
Users to find mosques, halal restaurants, prayer times, community events, and related services.
Vendors to create or manage business profiles, provide business information, respond to reviews, and access available dashboard features.
Users and vendors to share certain information that may appear publicly within the App.
Salatio is a discovery and information platform only. Salatio is not a restaurant, food provider, religious authority, halal certifying body, mosque authority, travel provider, navigation provider, or payment processor.
Salatio brings together information from different sources, including vendor-submitted information, user-submitted information, publicly available data, third-party data providers, and internal platform review processes.
2. Eligibility
To use Salatio:
Users must be at least 13 years old.
Vendors must be at least 18 years old.
Vendors must have authority to represent the business they register or manage.
You must comply with all applicable laws and these Terms.
Salatio may refuse, suspend, or terminate access to the App if we believe these requirements are not met.
PART A — USER TERMS
3. User Accounts
Users may create an account using email, phone number, or other login credentials supported by the App.
You agree to:
Provide accurate and current information.
Keep your login credentials secure.
Accept responsibility for activity under your account.
Notify Salatio if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Salatio may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Platform.
4. App Features for Users
Users may be able to:
Search for mosques and halal-friendly businesses.
View vendor profiles and business information.
Access prayer times and location-based features.
Save favorite locations.
Submit reviews and ratings.
Submit mosques, businesses, or events for consideration.
Report inaccurate, harmful, or inappropriate content.
Manage notification preferences.
Use links or integrations to third-party navigation apps.
Prayer times, nearest mosque suggestions, route-based suggestions, and nearby recommendations may depend on user location permissions, device settings, third-party data, and availability of accurate location information.
Navigation and map directions may be handled by third-party services such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, or other providers. Salatio does not control third-party navigation, route accuracy, road conditions, travel times, closures, safety conditions, or third-party app behavior.
Users are responsible for using the App safely, including while driving or traveling.
5. User Reviews, Ratings, and Content
Users may post reviews, ratings, reports, suggestions, photos, or other content where supported by the App.
You agree that your content must be:
Honest and based on your own experience.
Respectful and not abusive, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or harassing.
Free of false, misleading, or intentionally harmful claims.
Relevant to the business, mosque, event, or service being reviewed.
Compliant with applicable laws.
Salatio may remove, hide, restrict, or moderate user-generated content at its discretion, including content that appears false, harmful, abusive, irrelevant, promotional, spam-like, or in violation of these Terms.
Salatio does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, fairness, or reliability of user-generated content.
Users must also follow Salatio’s Community Guidelines when posting reviews, ratings, reports, submissions, photos, or other content.
6. Mosque, Business, and Event Submissions
Users may submit mosques, businesses, events, or other community information that is not currently listed in the App.
Submissions may be reviewed internally before being published. Salatio may approve, reject, edit, merge, delay, or remove submissions at its discretion.
Submitting information does not guarantee that it will appear in the App.
User identity may not be publicly displayed with certain submissions unless Salatio clearly indicates otherwise.
7. Halal Information Disclaimer for Users
Salatio may display halal-related information about businesses, including information about halal menu options, ownership, certifications, alcohol availability, hand-slaughtered options, or other business-provided claims.
Salatio does not guarantee, certify, verify, or promise the halal status of any vendor, menu item, ingredient, preparation method, certification, ownership claim, or business practice.
Halal-related information may come from vendors, users, public sources, third-party providers, or other available data. This information may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or subject to change.
Users are responsible for making their own religious, dietary, and purchasing decisions. If halal status is important to you, you should confirm directly with the vendor before ordering, visiting, or purchasing.
Salatio is not responsible for religious, dietary, health, financial, or personal decisions made based on information displayed in the App.
8. Billing, Subscriptions, and Payments for Users
The Salatio App is currently available to users free of charge.
In the future, Salatio may offer optional premium subscription features. If premium user subscriptions are introduced:
Pricing and features will be clearly disclosed before purchase.
Users will receive notice before any charges apply.
Users will not be charged unless they explicitly opt in.
Payment information will not be collected without consent.
Subscriptions will not begin without user confirmation.
If subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or another payment platform, that platform’s billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund policies may apply.
Users may cancel subscriptions through the applicable app store account settings or other cancellation method provided at the time of purchase.
9. User Conduct
Users may not:
Abuse, threaten, harass, or harm others.
Post false, misleading, defamatory, or harmful content.
Make false halal, religious, certification, ownership, or business claims.
Attempt to hack, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the App.
Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
Upload malware, spam, or unauthorized promotional content.
Impersonate another person, business, mosque, vendor, or organization.
Circumvent moderation, reporting, account restrictions, or security features.
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, account termination, or other action Salatio considers appropriate.
PART B — VENDOR TERMS
10. Vendor Accounts
Vendors may create accounts to manage business profiles and related information.
Vendors agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and current business information.
Have authority to represent the business.
Keep profile information updated.
Ensure that photos, menus, certificates, descriptions, and claims are truthful.
Respond professionally to users and Salatio.
Comply with these Terms and applicable laws.
Vendor accounts may be reviewed, limited, suspended, or terminated if Salatio believes the vendor has provided false information, violated these Terms, or created risk for users or the Platform.
11. Vendor Profiles and Public Information
Vendor profiles may display information such as:
Business name.
Address and location.
Phone number, website, and social links.
Photos, menus, and descriptions.
Cuisine type and amenities.
Halal-related disclosures.
Alcohol-related disclosures.
Ownership-related information.
Certification uploads or certificate-related information.
User reviews and ratings.
Vendor responses to reviews.
Profile status, badges, or other informational labels.
Vendors understand that information submitted through the vendor dashboard may be publicly visible in the App.
Vendors are responsible for keeping their information accurate and updated.
12. Vendor Halal and Business Information
Vendors may be asked to provide halal-related or business-related information, including whether the business has a full halal menu, offers hand-slaughtered zabiha options, is Muslim-owned, has uploaded halal certification, provides prayer space, or offers other amenities.
Vendors agree that all such information must be truthful and not misleading.
Salatio may display this information to users as vendor-provided information or platform-displayed information. However, Salatio does not independently guarantee, certify, or verify the halal status of any vendor, menu item, ingredient, preparation method, certificate, ownership claim, or business practice.
Any badge, label, profile indicator, certificate upload, or informational display on Salatio is for informational purposes only and does not constitute religious certification, legal certification, endorsement, guarantee, or promise of halal compliance.
Salatio may edit, remove, limit, or label vendor information if we believe it may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, disputed, outdated, or inconsistent with Platform rules.
13. Alcohol and Platform Eligibility Policy
Salatio is a halal-focused discovery platform. Salatio does not knowingly list, approve, display, promote, or allow vendor profiles for businesses that sell alcohol, beer, wine, alcoholic beverages, or alcoholic products.
This policy applies to businesses identified through third-party data, search filters, user submissions, vendor registrations, claimed profiles, reports, public information, menus, photos, or other available information.
If Salatio determines that a business sells alcohol, beer, wine, alcoholic beverages, or alcoholic products, Salatio may deny the listing, reject the submission, remove the business from the App, suspend or terminate the vendor account, remove related content, or take any other action Salatio considers appropriate.
This policy is based on Salatio’s platform purpose and business eligibility rules. It applies regardless of the business owner’s religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, ancestry, or background.
Salatio reserves the right to make the final decision regarding whether a business is eligible to appear on the Platform.
14. Vendor Profile Status, Badges, and Labels
Salatio may display certain profile indicators, badges, or labels to help users understand information provided by vendors or available through the Platform.
These may include, for example:
Prayer space available.
Hand-slaughtered zabiha.
Certificate uploaded.
Muslim-owned business.
Complete halal menu.
Other informational labels or amenities.
These badges or labels are informational only. Unless Salatio clearly states otherwise, they are based on vendor submissions, uploaded materials, user feedback, publicly available data, or other platform information.
Salatio does not guarantee that any badge, label, upload, or profile status is accurate, complete, current, or verified.
Salatio may add, remove, rename, modify, or revoke badges, labels, or profile indicators at any time.
15. Vendor Analytics
Vendors may have access to analytics only if analytics are included in their account type, subscription plan, or other feature access provided by Salatio. Free vendor accounts do not currently include analytics unless Salatio separately decides to offer limited analytics in the future.
Analytics are provided for informational purposes only. Salatio does not guarantee any number of views, clicks, customers, sales, leads, conversions, or business results.
Salatio may modify, limit, or discontinue analytics features at any time.
16. Vendor Reviews and Responses
Vendors may be able to respond to user reviews.
Vendors agree to:
Respond professionally and respectfully.
Avoid harassment, threats, retaliation, or intimidation.
Not pressure users to remove or change reviews.
Not post fake reviews or manipulate ratings.
Not offer improper incentives for positive reviews.
Salatio does not control user opinions and does not guarantee that reviews will be favorable, accurate, complete, or fair.
Salatio may remove vendor responses that violate these Terms.
17. Billing, Subscriptions, and Payments for Vendors
Vendor accounts and basic listing features are currently free of charge. Free vendor accounts do not currently include analytics unless Salatio separately decides to offer limited analytics in the future.
Salatio may introduce optional paid vendor features in the future. Paid vendor features may include analytics, profile promotion, sponsored placements, increased visibility, premium dashboard tools, or other vendor services.
If vendor subscriptions or paid features are introduced:
Vendors will receive notice before any charges apply.
Vendors will not be charged unless they explicitly choose to purchase or subscribe.
Subscription pricing, features, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation terms will be clearly disclosed before purchase.
Payment information will be collected only if the vendor chooses to purchase or subscribe.
Vendor subscriptions may renew automatically only if disclosed before purchase and permitted by the applicable payment platform.
Vendors may cancel according to the cancellation method provided at the time of purchase.
Vendors are responsible for any applicable taxes related to subscription payments.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
18. Vendor Prohibited Conduct
Vendors may not:
Sell alcohol, beer, wine, alcoholic beverages, or alcoholic products while seeking to be listed, displayed, promoted, registered, or maintained on Salatio.
Misrepresent halal status.
Upload fake, expired, altered, or misleading certifications.
Make false ownership, religious, ingredient, menu, or preparation claims.
Manipulate reviews or ratings.
Harass, threaten, or retaliate against users.
Mislead users about products, services, prices, availability, or business practices.
Use the Platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
Copy, scrape, or misuse Salatio data.
Interfere with the App or attempt unauthorized access.
Violations may result in:
Profile edits or content removal.
Loss of badges, labels, or profile indicators.
Profile suspension.
Account termination.
Removal from search results.
Permanent removal from Salatio.
Other action Salatio considers appropriate.
PART C — GENERAL TERMS
19. Third-Party Services and Data
Salatio may use or integrate third-party services, including but not limited to:
Google Maps.
Google Places.
Apple Maps.
Payment processors.
Analytics providers.
Push notification services.
Cloud hosting providers.
App store platforms.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, data practices, limitations, and availability.
Salatio is not responsible for third-party data, maps, routes, listings, app behavior, payment processing, outages, pricing, policies, or errors.
Some business listings, location details, ratings, maps, or directions may come from third-party sources and may be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, duplicated, or unavailable.
20. Location, Prayer Times, Mosque Discovery, and Navigation
Salatio may provide location-based features, prayer time information, mosque discovery, route-related suggestions, nearby mosque recommendations, and nearby business recommendations.
To provide these features, Salatio may use your device location, selected location, route information, or other location-related data, depending on your App settings, device permissions, and the features you choose to use.
Prayer times displayed in the App are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. Prayer time calculations may vary based on calculation method, school of thought, location accuracy, time zone, device settings, data source, network availability, and other factors.
Salatio does not guarantee that prayer times displayed in the App will be exact, complete, uninterrupted, or suitable for every user’s religious practice. Users are responsible for confirming prayer times according to their own preference, mosque, scholar, local authority, or community standard.
Salatio may display nearby mosques or suggest mosques based on your location, route, search activity, or available third-party data. Salatio does not guarantee mosque availability, prayer space availability, congregation times, women’s prayer space, parking, accessibility, hours of operation, safety, entry requirements, facilities, or whether a mosque is open at the time displayed.
Location-based results may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or affected by GPS accuracy, device settings, user permissions, third-party map data, internet connection, or changes made by mosques, businesses, venues, or third-party providers.
Navigation and map directions may be handled by third-party services such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, or other providers. Salatio does not control third-party navigation, route accuracy, road conditions, travel times, closures, safety conditions, or third-party app behavior.
Users are responsible for making safe travel decisions, following traffic laws, confirming details before visiting a location, and using the App in a safe manner. Do not use the App in a way that distracts from driving or creates danger.
21. User and Vendor Reports
Users and vendors may report inaccurate, inappropriate, misleading, harmful, or policy-violating content.
Reports may involve:
Reviews.
Vendors.
Businesses.
Mosques.
Events.
Photos.
Profile information.
Halal-related claims.
Alcohol-related concerns.
Other App content.
Salatio may review reports internally and decide what action, if any, is appropriate.
Submitting a report does not guarantee removal, suspension, correction, or any specific outcome.
Salatio reserves the right to make final moderation and eligibility decisions.
Salatio may use its Community Guidelines, internal moderation standards, and these Terms when reviewing reports and deciding what action to take.
22. Event Listings
Salatio may display community event information for discovery and informational purposes only.
Event listings may include information such as event name, date, time, location, organizer details, description, images, category, or other event-related information.
Salatio does not organize, host, sponsor, manage, operate, ticket, register attendees for, or control events listed in the App unless Salatio clearly states otherwise.
Salatio does not sell event tickets, collect RSVPs, process event payments, guarantee entry, manage attendance, or confirm event availability.
Event information may be submitted by users, vendors, organizers, mosques, community members, third-party sources, or other available sources. Salatio does not guarantee that event information is accurate, complete, current, appropriate, safe, available, or free from changes or cancellation.
Users are responsible for confirming event details directly with the event organizer or venue before attending, including date, time, location, cost, entry requirements, parking, safety, family accommodations, gender arrangements, prayer accommodations, food availability, and any other relevant details.
Salatio is not responsible for event cancellations, schedule changes, venue changes, entry denial, organizer conduct, attendee conduct, safety issues, fees, purchases, injuries, losses, disputes, or any other issue related to events listed in the App.
Salatio may edit, reject, remove, or limit event listings at its discretion, including listings that appear inaccurate, inappropriate, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, promotional in a misleading way, or inconsistent with Salatio’s platform purpose or Community Guidelines.
23. Intellectual Property
All Salatio branding, logos, designs, text, software, features, workflows, databases, graphics, and other Platform materials belong to Salatio LLC or its licensors, except for user-generated or vendor-generated content.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or misuse Salatio content or software without written permission.
By submitting content to Salatio, you grant Salatio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute that content in connection with operating, improving, marketing, and promoting the Platform.
You represent that you have the right to submit any content you upload or provide.
24. Disclaimers
Salatio provides the App and Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salatio disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and uninterrupted service.
Salatio does not guarantee:
Business listing accuracy.
Vendor information accuracy.
Halal compliance.
Certification authenticity.
Menu accuracy.
Ownership claims.
Alcohol-related disclosures.
Mosque information accuracy.
Event information accuracy.
User review accuracy.
Third-party data accuracy.
App availability.
Error-free operation.
Event availability, safety, cancellation, or organizer conduct.
Salatio is not responsible for vendor conduct, user conduct, third-party services, religious decisions, dietary decisions, travel decisions, or purchasing decisions made using the App.
25. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salatio LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost business, lost data, personal inconvenience, religious or dietary concerns, travel issues, or reliance on inaccurate information.
Salatio is not liable for:
Incorrect listings.
Vendor behavior.
User-generated content.
Third-party data.
Service interruptions.
Navigation issues.
Prayer time inaccuracies.
Halal-related claims.
Alcohol-related vendor misrepresentations.
Business closures or changed hours.
Religious or dietary decisions made using the App.
Event listings, event cancellations, event changes, organizer conduct, attendee conduct, entry denial, safety issues, or event-related disputes.
Your use of the App is at your own risk.
26. Account Suspension and Termination
Salatio may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account, profile, listing, badge, label, submission, review, or access to the Platform if we believe there has been a violation of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, legal risk, user safety concern, inaccurate information, alcohol policy violation, or other issue requiring action.
Users and vendors may request account deletion as described in the App or by contacting Salatio.
Some information may be retained as required or permitted by law, for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.
27. Changes to the App
Salatio may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time, including free features, vendor dashboard tools, analytics, badges, subscriptions, reports, notifications, or location-based services.
Salatio does not guarantee that any feature will always remain available.
28. Privacy
Your use of Salatio is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how Salatio collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information from users and vendors.
By using Salatio, you agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
29. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
30 Changes to These Terms
Salatio may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify users or vendors through the App, by email, or by other reasonable means.
Continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
